Our Lowcountry wines are original recipes we’ve developed here on Hilton Head — fruit wines, honey wines, and coastal blends made from regional ingredients and known for their easy, enjoyable flavors.Â
We also make a variety of traditional reds and whites using high-quality grapes from respected wine regions. Every wine is fermented, aged, and finished in-house in small batches, allowing us to create balanced, approachable wines in many styles.
Low Country Specialty Wines
Our Lowcountry specialty wines are original recipes made here on Hilton Head and have become a defining part of Island Winery.
These include island staples like Peach on the Beach, Blueberry Wine, and Southern Passion (our version of sangria), seasonal favorites such as Apple Cinnamon Wine and Cranberry Wine, and a limited summer release of Margarita Wine.
As a Southern winery, we also offer muscadine wines, focusing on just two styles done well — Harvest White and Sea Island Red.
Classic Reds and Whites
We also make a variety of traditional reds and whites using high-quality grapes sourced from respected wine regions. These wines are fermented, aged, and finished in-house in small batches, with a focus on balance and easy drinkability.
Our staple white is Sea Island White, a dry, well-balanced blend that has become a mainstay in our lineup. Alongside it, we typically offer one or two additional whites, such as Chardonnay, Riesling, or Pinot Grigio, depending on the season.
Our red wines include two signature blends—Vintner’s Reserve, using French-style grapes, and Joe’s Reserve, made with Italian grape varieties—along with a rotating selection of reds like Shiraz, Malbec, and Grenache.
Create Your Own Label
Custom labels are available for most Island Winery wines and are a great idea for gifts, weddings, corporate events, and special occasions.
You can personalize one of our existing label designs with your own wording, or provide your own finished label artwork sized at 3.5" × 5". Once we have the details, your label is applied to the bottles you select.

The Story Behind Our Labels
Each wine at Island Winery has its own label, created with the same level of care as the wine itself. Some feature coastal imagery inspired by Hilton Head and the Lowcountry — marsh scenes, beach sunsets, and familiar island views — while others showcase original artwork or photography created by local and regional artists. At the winery, each label is displayed with a short note that includes the creator’s name and background, giving guests a closer look at the artwork behind the bottle.
